Comment Spammers

A quick note. I've added the word verfication option to the comments because my mailbox is starting to get filled with spam comments that say things like:

Hey I really like your blog. Keep up the good work. You might want to check out my (insert link to crap) blog. etc.

If this keeps up even after the word verificatoin, I may have to eliminate anon commenting all together. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I just can not abide some scammer trying to make a few bucks and raise google / yahoo search rank by inserting comment spam everywhere. While jail time might be a bit much for this kind of idiocy I'm all for dragging em out into the street and whipping em bloody with a wet noodle. Myabe a little tar and feathering. Having them stripped nekkid and marched for a hundred miles with no sleep. That sort of stuff.
